1 min prep · 1–2 min long turn

How scoring works
We score each attempt on four bands, each 0–100, then map to the official ~0–4 (TOEFL) or ~0–9 (IELTS) band scale:
- Pronunciation — uses our existing accent analysis (Whisper + phoneme scoring).
- Fluency — pacing, hesitation, use of full speaking time.
- Vocabulary — range and accuracy.
- Grammar — accuracy and complexity.
